Script Draft - Two

EXT/In space as a huge ship emerges from hyperspace 

Scene 1 - Shot 1 

Wide, tracking shot as a ship appears from the dark of space above a planet.

INT/ Inside of the ship in the intro

Scene 2 - Shot 1 

Medium, tracking shot from above as two large vehicles drives past. In the background you can hear
propaganda being blasted into the streets. 

Unknown Voice on speaker 

(Clear)

“Order and law must be maintained, no one can live outside of the law…!”

Scene 2 - Shot 2 

Tracking shot up as the vehicles come to a stop in the middle of the street that has been blocked by
junk and stone.

Scene 2 - Shot 3

Medium Shot that slowly zooms out from the side of the vehicles as the back opens up and soldiers
move out in the direction of the barricade. 

Scene 2 - Shot 4 

Slow zoom out of an over the shoulder shot of two unknown figures setting up their weapons. The
soldiers are moving out below them towards the barricade.

Scene 2 - Shot 5

Close, handheld, tracking shot of some soldiers carefully walking up to the barricade and inspecting it.

Scene 2 - Shot 6 

Medium shot from behind the soldiers as the camera pans up to reveal the full barricade. 

Scene 2 - Shot 7

Cut back to the close shot of the soldiers with a handheld shot as they step back away from the
barricade.

Scene 2 - Shot 8

Close shot as the commander talks on the comm to the driver of the first vehicle to fire at the
barricade.

Commander:

“Charge the main gun and target the barricade, we need to keep moving”

Scene 2 - Shot 9

Medium Tracking shot that moves from one side of the barricade as the soldiers slowly walk away to
the other that reveals a group of insurgents waiting behind it with weapons at the ready. 

Scene 2 - Shot 10 

Close handheld shot of two of the insurgents are waiting for the go ahead.

Insurgent Leader:

“NOW!”

Once they get it they push the barricade down.

Scene 2 - Shot 11 

POV handheld shot from the perspective of one of the soldiers as laser shots come firing at him over
the barricade.

Scene 2 - Shot 12

Cut back to the shot of the insurgents setting up the heavy weapon as they fire it at the front vehicle,
wrecking it.

Scene 2 - Shot 13 

Medium, handheld shot as the soldiers begin to fire back at the new enemy, with a couple getting it by
lasers.

Scene 2 - Shot 14 

Close, handheld shot in a dark room that is only lit by a red light, a door slides open and more
insurgents step out to flank the soldiers.

Scene 2 - Shot 15

Medium, Handheld, tracking shot as one of the insurgents climb up the damaged front vehicle and
shoots a soldier close by killing him.

Scene 2 - Shot 16

Close, low, handheld shot as the side of the second vehicle opens and these heavily armoured soldiers
step out with riot shields. As they begin to move forward they open fire on the insurgents.

Scene 2 - Shot 17

Close, handheld shot as one of the insurgents is behind cover, they then look over and get hit by the
shots coming from the armoured soldiers, blasting him backwards 

Scene 2 - Shot 18 

Medium, handheld shot as another insurgent gets shot as they stand atop the wreck first vehicle.

Scene 2 - Shot 19 

Close shot of the heavy weapon team as one points to the new armoured soldiers. 

Scene 2 - Shot 20

Close up shot of the front of the heavy weapon firing.

Scene 2 - Shot 21 

Close, handheld shot of two of the armoured soldiers as the one in front of the camera gets hit by the
heavy weapon blast.

Scene 2 - Shot 22

Medium, Handheld shot as a normal soldier sees this and bangs on the vehicles window and points in
the direction of the heavy weapon team.

Scene 2 - Shot 23

Close shot of the gun on the second vehicle as it turns towards the heavy weapons team higher up.

Scene 2 - Shot 24

Handheld shot that tracks an insurgent that appears from an alleyway wielding two large pistols and
begins blasting their way around the second guard vehicle, they shoot on of the armoured guards but
it gets blocked by the shield.

Scene 2 - Shot 25 

Close, handheld shot to the person with the two pistols as they fire both at the same time 

Scene 2 - Shot 26 

Over the shoulder, handheld shot at the armoured soldier gets killed by the combined blast. 

Scene 2 - Shot 27 

Cut to a guard behind cover as they step out and begin shooting at the new character with the two
pistols. 

Scene 2 - Shot 28

Close, handheld shot as the character with the two pistols fires back but is forced to take cover. As
they get into cover the lights in the room get darker and changes to red 

Scene 2 - Shot 29 

Close, handheld shot of some of the guards in the middle of taking cover/fighting in close combat as
they stop what they are doing and look up.

Scene 2 - Shot 30

A wide slow pan out shot of all of the fighters not moving as they await for what this means. A voice
rings out from the propaganda devices in the street. 

Unknown voice on speaker 

(Calm)

“Warning, Emergency measures are to be taken”

EXT/In space 

Scene 3 - Shot 1

Cut to an extreme close up of  the ships guns firing at an unknown target.

Scene 3 - Shot 2

Quick cut to an even more zoomed out view of the ship as a giant swarm of aliens surrounds it and a
colourful tear in space surrounding framing the ship.
