I tried to go smaller with the soft pastels, i wanted to create a blue aura around a temple light and dark shadows to come off the hand reaching forward. This once again didn't go well, i think i can only use water colours as i seem to mess up with pastels too much. I guess the plus is that i have been practicing how to draw posed hands so thats good.
