Updates on temple character model - Mudbox

I started to add some muscle definition to the leg area of this character. This was made a bit easier
because of the reference material that i collected in another assignment.

Because i'm short on time I wanted to at least give the character a basic coat of paint to see what it
might look like. I started by using the airbrush tool and applying a relatively dark layer over the
character model.

After the layer was complete i darkened the colour down and used a smaller airbrush to go into the
recesses of the character, such and the bibs and some of the muscle lines to add some definition to
the character.

To highlight the character I used a large but weak airbrush to go over flat raised areas with the
brighter version of the purple/blue. This helps create some contrast and brings out the darkened
recesses more in the character model.

This was the final look of the character after i added some highlights, i also went over with a stamp to
give the impression of slightly raised and bumpy skin. The reason I used an airbrush was to help
blend all of the shades of colour together. If i had stated this easier on ion the assignment i think i
could have had a very good looking model but i did what i could in the time that i had left so i'm
happy with what i have created.
